The core of this new update is something quite simple but very effective. As X seeks to combat bots with new detection tools, they are moving away from just looking at what an account says and starting to look at how it behaves physically.
Tap and Swipe Tracking:
One of the most talked-about tools is the “human-tap” detection. The app can now tell if a physical finger is actually touching the screen. If an account is posting but there is no “tap” data, it’s a major red flag for automation.
IP and VPN Monitoring:
To stop industrial-grade spam farms, X is now more closely monitoring residential IP addresses and VPN usage to ensure accounts aren’t being run by massive bot networks in remote locations.
Behavioral Patterns:
