Beyoncé Launches Her Own Whiskey Brand, SirDavis

Queen Bey's New Venture

Beyoncé is known for her many talents, from singing and dancing to acting and entrepreneurship . And now, she's adding another feather to her cap - whiskey connoisseur! The Queen Bey has just launched her own whiskey brand, SirDavis, in partnership with Moët Hennessy.

The whiskey brand is named after Beyoncé's great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a moonshine man in the American South during Prohibition. Beyoncé has always been drawn to the power and confidence she feels when drinking quality whiskey, and she wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling. "When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated," she said in a statement. "SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy."

SirDavis is an American whiskey brand that boasts a unique flavor profile. The mash bill includes 51% rye and 49% malted barley, making it a standout in the American whiskey category. The whiskey is finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which gives it a rich, velvety texture and a flavor profile that's both spicy and sweet.

SirDavis is available for preorder on the brand's website, with a suggested retail price of $89 per bottle. It will hit store shelves in select U.S. states, as well as in London, Paris, and Tokyo, in September.

Beyoncé is redefining the American whiskey market and inviting a new generation of whiskey drinkers to join the party.
