Tucker and Hudgens first crossed paths in 2020, became engaged in February 2023, and exchanged vows in a romantic beach ceremony in Mexico later the same year.
During a May 2021 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the High School Musical star candidly shared insights into the early stages of their relationship.
"I believe in taking charge of what I want," Hudgens expressed to Barrymore. "So, I simply reached out to him via DMs and said, 'Hi, it's nice to meet you.' I think there's no harm in making the first move."
Reflecting on her previous relationship with Austin Butler, which ended after eight years in 2020, Hudgens acknowledged the transformative impact of her past experiences.
"I believe that my previous breakups have played a significant role in shaping my character," she revealed in a recent interview for the She Pivots podcast, just ahead of Oscars weekend. "I feel that my last breakup has propelled me towards a very special place. It ultimately led me to the right person, for which I'm immensely grateful. He's incredibly supportive, genuine, and understanding—a truly exceptional individual."
